OPRA EXAM Overseas Pharmacists Readiness Assessment Replacing KAPS exam—Beginning March 2025

The OPRA exam or Overseas Pharmacist Readiness Assessment is an exam which as the name indicates, assesses the readiness of the pharmacists abroad for the Australian healthcare. The OPRA exam is a step under the Knowledge stream which tests the overseas pharmacists on how well they understand the science and knowledge behind medicines and healthcare, including pharmaceutical, biomedical, and clinical sciences. It also checks if they can use this knowledge correctly in real-life pharmacy practice in Australia, New Zealand ensuring they can provide safe and effective care to patients.

If you are a pharmacist who want to register in Australia to work and live there are few things that the pharmacist has to understand before we understand the OPRA exam.
