A Career Built on Clinical Excellence

Harika's clinical journey began after she cleared the KAPS exam, the Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted by the Australian Pharmacy Council, in 2018. This made her one of the many international pharmacists who navigated the licensing pathway to practise in Australia, an experience that would later shape everything she built at Elite Expertise.

She started her internship at Moama Village Pharmacy in New South Wales, gaining community pharmacy experience across leading brands including Priceline, Terry White, and AMCAL. She then moved into hospital pharmacy, securing a clinical pharmacist role at Swan Hill District Health in regional Victoria, where she took on a wide scope of responsibilities.

At Swan Hill, Harika managed medication reconciliation, inpatient and outpatient supply, antimicrobial stewardship audits, chemotherapy dispensing, and clozapine management. She supervised interns, pharmacy students, and technicians, contributed to quality improvement programs, and regularly stepped into senior responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy. She also responded to code blue, sepsis, and MET calls, working directly alongside medical teams within her scope of practice.

Today, Harika works as a Clinical Pharmacist at Monash Health, Victoria's largest public hospital network in Melbourne. Her work centres on medication safety, patient-centred care, and optimising medication management across a range of pharmacy practice settings and interprofessional teams.

She is an Accredited Consultant Pharmacist with the Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy (AACP) and a certified pharmacist immuniser with the Pharmacy Guild of Australia.

Co-Founder — Elite Expertise

In May 2023, Harika co-founded Elite Expertise alongside her husband Arief Mohammed, a practising clinical pharmacist and Accredited Consultant Pharmacist in Australia. What began as a coaching initiative has grown into a global EdTech platform that has trained over 5,000 pharmacists worldwide, with a consistent 95%+ pass rate across every batch.

Elite Expertise prepares pharmacists for:

  • KAPS and OPRA — Australia

  • OPRA — New Zealand

  • Australian Intern Pharmacist Written and Oral Exams

  • PEBC — Canada

  • PSI — Ireland

  • New Zealand Intern OSCE Preparation

  • DHA — UAE

The platform is built on a simple but powerful idea, coaching that is clinically grounded, exam-focused, and structured around how pharmacists actually learn. This matters especially for working professionals, repeat candidates, and those preparing from overseas with limited access to the right guidance.

Harika serves as Director and Clinical Educator at Elite Expertise, leading OPRA, PSI and PEBC coaching with the same standards she applies in her clinical work.

Why She Built This

Harika has been through the international pharmacist registration journey herself. She knows what it takes, the preparation, the pressure, and the kind of support that makes the difference between passing and falling short.

She built Elite Expertise because she saw capable, qualified pharmacists failing not because they lacked knowledge, but because they lacked structured, exam-relevant guidance from someone who truly understood the pathway. Her mission is straightforward, every pharmacist deserves the opportunity to practice in the country they choose, with the right preparation and the right people behind them.

To date, she has mentored over 5,000 pharmacy students and professionals, helping them register and practice in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, the UAE, and beyond.
